Healing Hands of Don at Hampton Bodywerks

  Relax and Restore yourself

I was born into a strong military family. My dad taught me discipline and excellent work ethic while my mom taught me at the very age of seven not to be afraid to embrace people from different cultures. I'm so glad that she help me develop this love for different cultures because it was a excellent foundation for me to learn the different types of massage modalities that I have incorporate into my list of services.

Before I was a massage therapist, I was a member of a mobile disc jockey group in Columbia, South Carolina and in March 1986 I followed in the footsteps of three generations of Hampton men, by serving and joining the military, I  joined the U.S. Air Force.  I was a medic in the U.S. Air Force.

After my four wonderful years in U.S. Air Force, I went back to college to pursue a four year degree and in 1992, I joined the U.S. Army Reserves / Texas Army National Guard  as a combat medic.  Also, I worked various hospital systems in San Antonio as a civilian medic while I was attending the University of Texas at San Antonio and Webster University.
